Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed October 5, 2026.

Everyone should be able to find our phone number, learn what we do and ask for help with their plumbing, whatever device or assistive technology they use. Our target for this website is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What We Did

  • Pages use real headings in order, landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) and a “Skip to main content” link.
  • Everything works with a keyboard: the menu, the question-and-answer sections, the forms and the interactive tools, with a visible focus outline.
  • Text and buttons meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1, and the text can be enlarged without loss of content.
  • Every photo has a text description of what it shows; decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
  • Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked, and errors are explained in words, not color alone.
  • Tables have header cells; on phones, wide tables turn into labeled blocks instead of scrolling sideways.
  • Nothing moves, flashes or plays sound on its own, and the layout works from small phones to wide screens.
  • The main content and the forms work without JavaScript; the interactive tools explain what to do when it is off.

How It Is Tested

Before each change goes live, every page goes through automated checks: HTML validation with accessibility rules, Lighthouse accessibility audits at phone and desktop sizes, and a layout check in a real browser that looks for text cut off, controls that overlap and content that scrolls sideways. We also review the pages with the keyboard alone. Automated tools cannot catch everything, which is why we want to hear from you.

Browsers and Assistive Technology

The site is built with standard HTML and CSS, without plug-ins or third-party scripts, so it works in current versions of the major browsers and with the screen readers, magnifiers and voice-control tools that run on top of them. You can zoom the page to 200 percent or more; the layout reflows into a single column instead of making you scroll sideways.

Known Limitations

The photo descriptions say what each picture shows, but they cannot replace a conversation about your own plumbing. The interactive tools give general guidance only; if one of them does not work for you, call and we will go through the same questions together on the phone.
